In our age of information, we can search for and consume just about anything we can conceive of. With this unfathomable power comes the ability to view cruelty, violence, and human suffering whenever it happens to cross our dashboards. From behind the safety and detachment of our screens, what was once traumatizing and markedly impactful has become numbing and normalized.

Through this installment, you are challenged to allow discomfort, fear, and powerlessness to pervade your senses. As much as is possible, you are placed into the space with suffering, without the power to turn it off. Numbness is no longer an option. You may choose not to look, or even to leave, but know that it is still happening even once you are gone.
